Or,

"How I Learned Surrenderance(sic) and Began To Enjoy This Durned Apocalypse"

(wherein, during the days to come, shall be discussed the following:)

Physical Location (mine)

Medical Condition (mine)

Kosmic Address (mine, ours)

Electoral Politics (ours, theirs)

Global Concerns (everybody's)

Economy (nobody's)

Woo (His n' Hers)

Disclaimer:  Its been a while since I posted to this blog, for which absence I've no excuse, except to say that by the time I left on my, er, "sabbatical" several months ago, the once rampant fun-factor around here (for me, Dear Ones, for me,) had been near totally sucked down a myriad of black holes that festered into being like vortex zombies wraithing through a Long Night of the Living Dead - said up-writhing more or less coinciding with the semi-tortured surprise Hoovering of dear wee Zaadz into the behemoth embrace of Good Fathership Gaiam. (GFG, heh heh . . . and, with all due credit and apologies ((seriously now)) to the wondrous and nurturing Gaia crew who mediated this apparently non-elective surgical identity heist.)

As is my wont when so vexed, I first take everybody else's inventory and, when finally bored with that, turned to look within for my own part(s) in such tumultuous proceedings.  Much was discovered (no surprise there) and it is my intention during the weeks to come to share some of those findings with you.  For instance, one thing I learned was that (horrors) most of what I got so worked up over had absolutely nothing to do with me - yet I took it personally!  Imagine that!!  Well, I'm over it now, see . . . and as long as everybody friggin' be-hav-es themselves and treats me with kid friggin' gloves, there won't be any more trouble.  OK? (heh heh . . .)

Those who already know me (or are at least familiar with my literary excesses) can expect more of the same.  For those of you to whom I am fresh, new, and still mysterious, please be aware that the word "florid" has been used in reference to my style of correspondence.  One need only visit a few of my earlier postings to this blog for an approximation of the affect.  Sadly however, some of my more noteworthy (read juicy and irresponsible) disclamations are buried deep in old cyberhallic threads where long-passed political, ideological, scientific, and spiritual fisticuffs were once the order of the day.

A bygone era perhaps, especially now that we are all supposed to be rowing in the same direction; which point brings me to a summation of my thoughts about the recent US election. "Obamanointment" (heh heh) was, for me, like FDA-approved group sex after which I didn't want anybody to get out of bed in the morning and break the spell.  I am pleased to report the persistence of this feeling with elaborations to follow in time.

And who cares about more fractiousness anyway?  For surely, as we sweep like ants on a sodden leaf into the maw of the widening gyre, nothing really matters afterall, but rest assured of this, oh ye fresh and unsuspecting:  strong language will be used, pontifications are inevitable, "facts" will be distorted as well as outright in-ven-ted, accountability will be in short supply, and ass-talking will abound.

So, "Ahem,"  "Oh Yeah," . . . and, might I say, its good to be back.  Oh, one more thing: may divine grace forever besot all those who kept a candle burning fer yrs. trly.

Glad to see you and hear your florid voice again, friend!

LOL.  Yeah, I still sort of feel like that.  Afraid to move and dispell the magic.  But that time is coming, I'm sure, and ours is to make the magic when the appearance of magic fades…

K, J, G, & B,

Thanks for the warm welcome.  “Color” it is friend K, and yes dear J., Ramsses and I (at his welcome instigation) have bridged the rift with God knows what consequence.

George, I know that I am flippant about such things, but really, does nothing at all matter?  How about equipoise?  or Compassion?  I confuse myself sometimes.

Bruce, if alchemy qualifies as magic, then let the wand-waving and fairy-dusting begin . .

hugs and kisses to all,
yer m.

There he is, back from the dead, leaping off the page, juicing up space from in-between the lines with that same old swashbuckling vigor: the ancient alchemist from Starship Nine.

Yowza, onto the next groove, and altogether now.

Drat. Someone already posted the group-sex sentence. That was the best one. Now all I can do is sit here in the wee hours of the morning and feel sorry for myself.
It is very good to hear from you, indeed.

Dear Mascha and you Liz, and you Liz too,

It is good to be back.  I feel some struggle between my basic human instincts to be cool, considerate, patient and entertaining and a powerful “something” else from a place that haunts me to get right down to it.  I have been all over the place since I was last here, reading, reading, reading while trying to sort out the purple-fringed hogwash from the jeweled thread of truth.

Essentially, the options are to saddle up with the ascension forces and leave now, or hang on for the ride with the intention to stick around and clean up the mess after the earth has been more or less vacated.

More soon on all of this, but one thing I can say for sure is that the upcoming soulstice (sic) is not yer grammy's 12/21.  Oh no, and 2009 12/21 is going to be just that much more intense and so on …

It gets down to this, either there are Elohim and E.T.'s and galactic federations, Eyes of Horus, Isis and hundreds of thousands of lifetimes per each one of us, or there are not.

Either there is such a thing as “The Song of Christ” playing with compassionate determination throughout the blaze of Consciousness, or there is not.

My operating conclusion, after 50 years of more or less continuous study, of these related subjects is that, however illusory the fabric of reality might be, that the truth of it all is far more fantastic than our poor self-besotted minds can comprehend.  That, when the descending tornado of evolutionary change touches down in your neighborhood, said tornado will de-constuct whatever of your “house” is not founded on sacred principals.

Secrets, attachments, accomplishments, yea even “merits”, if not released before hand, will be pulled from us sideways as slivers if necessary in the force of the Shakti gale.

Either the mystics and esoterics are right, or they are wrong.  For a long time, I did not want to believe that they were right as all I had to read and all that I could see was the purple-fringed bullshit opportunists and boneheads.  No more, as http://www.everything-in-creation-and-then-some.com/  (not an actual link, heh heh) has approximated an earthly paradise for a research junkie like myself.

The deconstruction of market capitalism, being a false structure based on pragmatic suppositions easily exploitable by greed and subterfuge, is an example of what I mean.  The current deconstruction of fear-based fascism masquerading as “neoconic-pentacostal-evangelical-x'inanity” is another such example.  The coming time will be characterized by the breakdown of all structures that are not sound, whether physical, emotional, intellectual, philosophic, or economic.

What will emerge will be beautiful and fulfilling beyond our wildest imaginings.  I like to think of it (this time, now, as we move forward) as the prelude to an orgasm:  lots of striving and straining and achievement and worries and sense pleasure and performance anxieties and self doubt and then … EVERYTHING changes and we utterly forget all that has led to the moment when bliss arises.

Remember your first one?  How it changed everything?  How it became such a grand game leading us all over the friggin' place??

That's where we are headed.  Towards our first orgasm, again, only this time we can approach it consciously by not striving, by taking care of ourselves and others and not just focusing on our own sense pleasure, by going within and releasing anything that seems dark, or dense, or secretive, or otherwise unsound.  This will take work, and help, and community, and time.  Difficult as it may seem from this perspective, it is truly the “easier softer way” when compared to what it might be like if you find yourself holding on to a 2000 lb safe full of bullshit when ol' tornadolini comes to call.

More soon,

Love to all for now,

Michael

Hey, Michael, what you said reminded me of this, in my weekly horoscope from Rob Brezny:

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): In his book *Signs of Success,*
astrologer Steven Weiss says “The question 'Do you believe in astrology?'
is like asking someone if they believe in art.” I agree. Picture a no-
nonsense physicist gazing at a Kandinsky painting, with its teeming blobs
of mad color and exuberant shapes, and declaring it to be a superstitious
eruption of delusion that's not based on a logical understanding of the
world. Like Kandinsky's perspective, astrology at its best roots us in the
poetic language of the soul, and isn't blindly submissive to the values of
the rational ego. It's here to liberate our imaginations and encourage us
to think less literally and to visualize our lives as mythic quests. I bring
this to your attention, Sagittarius, because right now it's crucial that you
spend some quality time in modes of awareness akin to Kandinsky's and
astrology's.

Can't wait to read the sequel, Michael. As you know, we agree on many of the fundamental ingredients that make up this fantastic stew. I see a few more major bubbles bursting too. Our entire history will have to be revised, and with that, our collective future opens up in new and incredibly startling ways.

It's so intense, I need to rest and nap a lot to prevent synapses from burning through.

Dear Ones,

Back online after a no-fault “down-age” due to high winds and hotspots gone cold.

Thanks for the Brezny comments Liz, I read that the other day and its language and admonitions jumped out and grabbed me too.

Lol,

How did I stay gone from the likes of you for so long?  Truly such distance is an illusion.   I see myself right now across the kitchen table from you , steam rising from a couple a mugs 'n a wee bit a mist 'n our eyes.

Mascha,

“Our entire history will have to be revised, and with that, our collective future opens up in new and incredibly startling ways.”

So true, M. so true.  What a grand thing it is to be able to go back into the past and trade the lies for truth, alchemy at its finest, and, like you say, it is our ”collective future” that is benefitted by each of us taking responsibility for ourselves.

Colin,

Hoping that all is well with you.  I wil be in PDX through Thanksgiving.  Lets get together for a walk.

love to all,
Michael

Michael, I will be back in Portland for the Thanksgiving weekend until the following Tuesday. Any chance you'll be around on Monday? FYI: I am living primarily in San Francisco for the next two years pursuing an M.A. in Integral Counseling Psychology at CIIS. Would love to see you in a couple weeks, if circumstances allow.

I've got you tentatively on my calendar for the Monday after T-day. Let's try to connect that weekend to see if our schedules can match up. Tromping through slippery wet Forest Park may not be repeated, but we could certainly walk the streets and find some hot beverage and warm ambiance.
